Acne Studios

Letters from Sweden developed a custom typeface for Acne Studios

In close collaboration with Acne Studios we developed a custom typeface for their new visual identity. The fonts are live on www.acnestudios.com and can soon be seen in stores around the world.

New times ahead

Some might not know this, but the last few years I’ve almost had two jobs. I was FamiljenPangea’s lead type designer, where I was not only responsible for designing custom typefaces but also brought in the majority of such clients to the company. Simultaneously, I was running Letters from Sweden as a side project where my main focus was retail fonts.

Stefania was living in New York at the time, working with Swedish and American clients from the collaborative workspace Studiomates in Dumbo, Brooklyn. She had decided to move back to Sweden where she had started her career with designing iconic magazines like Pop and Bibel.
